Synopsis: Merche (Carmen Maura) receives the unfortunate news that she has little time left to live. Because of this, she decides to fulfill the impossible dreams of her three best friends (Marisol Ayuso, María José Alfonso, and María Luisa Merlo). Finally, she also wants to fulfill her own dream: to see the sea for the last time by visiting the island of La Palma. Her delicate health condition prevents her from traveling, but a brilliant scientist (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón) offers her a solution. She will transfer Merche’s soul into the body of a recently deceased person for three days so that she can fulfill her dream. That body belongs to Jon (Fernando Albizu), a big-hearted Basque truck driver. So, Merche will “enjoy” her last days with her daughter (Olivia Molina) on the Canary Island.
